toc toc sound...?!

My car is making a weird toc toc sound when I'm going slow at steedy speed or just accelarating a bit

A shop told me it was normal and that it was comming from the drivedrain.

I have a S50, with a m3 tranny. I also have a limited slip diff from diff online in a Z3 case.

What do you think?

Universal Joint in driveshaft is a first guess. I dont know if yours sounds like mine but I'm attempting to deal with a simularly described sound.

My gas tank filler neck was loose. I fixed it and I didn't heard the sound since... but I took the car only for 5 mins...

A garage told me that a toc toc sound could come from lug nut hitting the parking brake component if they are too long... Maybee its your case!
