    Let's play 'name that diff'....

So I have an 87 Seta, and never even considered that a PO would've changed the diff. But upon reading a post saying that the 2.93 gives you about 2500rpm's @ 75mph, I realized after reading this that at that speed I am revving about 2900-3000rpm....i'm thinking it may be a 3.23/3.25, i'll look for a tag today when I leave work.....any ideas??

    Sounds like a 2.93 to me, my 3.25 is at about 2750 at 75ish; 70 at 2500.

it also has a LOT to do with how well your car is tuned...

Umm no. That has nothing to do with it.

On stock sized tires a 2.93 puts you VERY close to 2500 rpm at 75mph in 5th gear on a manual trans.
