got my newer trans in today!

so droped off my car wensday at Robmespeed's with a g240 pick up from farbin for a bill. picked teh car up today and so happy, be for the trans swap my shit was fukd, getting stuck in 1st and 5th gear, having no 2nd 70% of the time and the shift linkage was all messy, but the 100 bux trans and the 42 dollar cyl. slave ,all i can say is OMG feels like a new car, even feels fast, allso rob messed with the diff , he thought it might be LSD , well when i got home i got up under it and lookd at teh tag agian , i knew b4 it was 3.91 , and noticed today is says S 3.91 86 on it , from read some old post they came off ix's? but never on a 84 318i. well i guess i got lucky then because cant find these anywhere . just lettn ppl know how my day was, was very plsd with teh trans swap rob, thanks alot dude!

if anyone has some more info on the S 3.91's let me know!

read up and found out LSD S 3.91 small case was a option for 10/83-9/84 ,25% lock

yea the trans is smooth, no grinds and dosnt leak like my old one, now i just drive around with a busted trans in my trunk ,

ah. well idk if i need a new tranny. its just giving some trouble. but a tranny for a bill would have been the better option.haha
