Lightweight Flywheel and Performance Clutch Questions

I'll be honest here, now that i've got my car to a cosmetic satisfaction, it's time to start working on performance. I need a new clutch. I have needed one for a while and when I replace it I don't want to replace it with just the stock clutch.

I have a 1984 318i and I have no idea what to search for when finding transmission-related goods. I want a performance clutch that will be better than the original. I don't want to go too insane, but I want the equivalent of getting bilstein shocks and H&R springs.

While my clutch is being put in, I am looking to get a lightweight flywheel to keep the RPM's high. Where would I go about looking for one of these also? I know Sach's makes BMW's clutch and flywheel, but I'm not sure where to look for these things and haven't learned much about them...

Anybody have some friendly advice? :)

clutch: i know ebay is the devil but i went with "stage3" clutch kit they had for my car from clutch cartel, it drives really nice it dosent shutter or jerk really bad also the pressure plate is stiff but not super pain staking stiff either. im my opinion its a decent clutch for the price

flywheel: also i took a route less traveled i went ahead and just had the stock flywheel lightened resurfaced and re-balanced from a machine shop in town...for 150 its not bad vs 500 for a light weight one but im on a tight budget so you might not care about 500 cash as much lol.

i would just look around first to find what best suits you but thats how i did mine and im pretty happy with the results

Don't put a lightened flywheel on an otherwise stock m10. It needs all the rotational inertia it can get.
