    Guibo and centerbearing

I did a swap about 1000 miles ago and my guibo needs to be replace (heavy vibration under load and some vibration at constant speeds) does anyone know the torque specifications for the bolts? I'm worried that they weren't done to specification before and i want to keep from having that be a possible issue in the future.

i have a Bentley manual... but i've moved 3 times in as many months and it could be anywhere..

Just a thought... make sure everything is tight but if you are getting heavy vibration under load then make sure your driveshaft joints aren't freezing up as replacing the center support bearing could be only a temporary fix.

When I did my guibo I just tightened them down as tight as I could... haha. So props to you actually doing stuff to spec although mine works just fine.

how would i check for that? -i've only been having these vibrations for the past 200 miles...(i would have not driven if that was a possibility, but it wasn't) and they seemed to come out of nowhere. I drove 30 miles to work without issue and then about 2 miles into driving home it started and got worse and worse.

If you have a vibration that is worse when the drive train is under higher torque loads, the cause is almost always going to be a bad guibo or binding u-joints in the drive shaft. The first sign of binding u-joints is typically a failure of the rubber mount of the CSB. The fix is to replace the drive shaft and CSB and maybe the guibo.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

anyone selling a driveshaft? two of the bolts that connect the driveshaft to the guibo weren't tightened and allowed the driveshaft to walk a few mm at a time and now one of the three mounting holes is almost nonexistent. *sigh*
