transm. hates 1st.

hey guys.. so the car dosent want to take 1st gear anymore. ive found coins down thre. but cant get past the bottom of the shifter.. the white plastic at the bottom of the shifter is broken. so maybe thats why.. when i put in 1st gear it goes in way to deep to the point of touching the console wall.. idk what to do. am i gonnna need a new transmission???

haha.. my tranny spits out 1st gear.. and i cant think of any reason why....i cant enjoy the car because i have to take off on second. and sometimes the car spits out 2nd also..
any ideas?????
