    What clutch/flywheel for me?

So I have an 87 325es. I'm doing an m52 swap and while it's all apart believe that I should replace the clutch and flywheel.

What are some cost effective options?

I'd like the clutch to be good for any future mods I may do. Which includes possibly boost or some engine work. Max goals would be 250whp. If this is a dumb idea to get a clutch now for these future goals then I guess I could hold off with the stock. m5 clutch???

And the flywheel in the eta has to be horribly heavy. How do I know if I have a single mass or dual mass? What about machining them lighter...?

Sorry if this question is that dumb I just have no idea and I've never heard anything about this.

I did a Sach's e30 m3 clutch with a single mass flywheel shaved down to about 15-16lbs. Stock e30 tranny. You'll be able to see the diff on a single vs dual mass and the weight. Dual mass's are somethin like 27lbs and are real thick.

Does the dual mass come in the eta? Is there a way to tell if I have the dual or single mass without tearing the car apart?

How much did the m3 clutch run you?

Does anyone have any input on how much power the stock clutch can hold?
