need help choosing trans

M50 is ready to go in my 91' 318i ..I have a good e36 tranns(or at least I hope so) and i have the 240 getrag from the 318i ..which one would you guys go with and why....will the stock driveshafts work with the 240 getrag??,but then the shifter wont line up correctly huh!!...OR go with e36 250 getrag? the shifter will line up ,but not sure about driveshaft. :???:
