tapping drive shaft

There is a tapping noise coming from the car. I jacked up the car when i put the car in gear and release the clutch. (Almost as if i was driving away.) There Is a tapping and moving metal coming right next to the gas tank. Also the noise get louder the faster i go. Because the drive shaft is moving faster.

Could this be a u joint?
