Other than the friction surface, does anything wear out in regards to the pressure plate? I have a car with a very very hard clutch- forward and back. I have the tranny off and the clutch and pressure plate look great and are not too old- a sachs unit. The clutch fork has some wear at the t-o bearing connection points causing the t-o bearing to angle left, putting lots of pressure on the shaft; possibly causing the tight clutch. do you think this wear was caused by an another problem or was this wear the one problem. I just don't know if i want to pull a good pressure plate and spend 80 if i don't have too.
