    Driveshaft/csb issue..

One night while i was driving i had an abrupt change from smooth driving to one with heavy vibes under load i pretty much knew it had to be a driveshaft/csb problem.

upon undercar inspection i immediately saw that the csb was toast.

however, i had the driveshaft rebuilt (new u-joints) about a year and a half ago. i re-installed myself with the help of a friend.

    so, i have two questions.

    1) should i just get a new CSB since i had the driveshaft rebuilt relatively recently? or should i do the whole driveshaft/CSB assembly?

    2) is this normal to happen within 2 years? could it have been poor install on my part?

this did happen rather abruptly, i could feel it the moment the CSB went out. it was like a jolt underneath.

Failure of the rubber mount of the CSB is almost always the result of binding u-joints. My guess is that the rebuild job was flawed or that the new u-joints suffered from a lubrication failure.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
