    Differential rubber support replacement

While up on the lift for an exhaust issue, I discovered the the rubber mount at the top of the differential is deteriorated. It looks like that you might be able to drop the diff a little bit by undoing the front mounts and then remove the rubber mount/bushing. This sure would make the job easier. Can it be done without completely removing the differential.

It pretty much takes a press to change the diff mount. If you don't want to drop the diff, you can remove the rear cover and change the mount.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      Differential mount

Wow! Taking off the cover seems to be the way to go.
