    3.73 lsd into 325e

    The stock differential is busted up and really rough and I want to put a 3.73 lsd instead of the stock 2.71 in. I'm swapping in a m20b25 for the eta engine soon so I would have to get a new differential anyways, but I will have to drive the car for a few months before I can do this.

    I guess my question is will I be able to drive on the freeway at a decent rpm in fifth gear or am I going to be cruisin at 4500rpm just going 65.

      It's not that high. I can't remember my rpm's at freeway speed exactly. I want to say 60-65 was between 3000-3500.

          65mph in 5th will be about 3000rpm.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
