Shifter Shaft?

Does anyone know if the "shifter shaft" (the part where the lever pops into) is universal for all transmissions?

I'm not sure what your question really is. The part you refer to is the shifter console and it is the same for a given transmission and car. It may not be the same for a different model of transmission or a different car.
