    Top clutch slave nut..

I recently tried to replace my clutch slave and the top mounting nut started coming out. I was kinda overzealous with loosening it and didn't notice the bolt moving the nut and not the bolt moving OFF the nut. Real oem didn't really show the mounting point for the clutch slave (maybe I wasn't looking hard enough). My question are whether the top nut is threaded on the inside, or do I have to weld it back to the transmission, or am I generally fucked?

Id say, make sure it didn't snap off in the case. If not then put some red loktite on it and thread it back in. Once it's set, remove said nut.

    Good luck

its a knurled bolt, says realoem. I think pulling the tranny is the only way. Maybe I am wrong, my friend.

Hmm, still technically if I'm able to pull it, can I locktite it let it set and try it or what?

I don't think you will be able to pull it out. I think you could push it in but then I cant think of a way to get a new stud in there. You just need a way to keep the bolt from spinning while getting the nut off and then on again. When there is pressure it will hold, you just need to keep it from spinning. You might be able to get creative with some glue stuff to keep it from spinning with both accounts. Good luck. pulling the tranny isn't the worst thing in the world.
