    any HELP!!!

ok i just switched out both my master clutch and slave cylinders

but the third time changing the master

1st one wnet out just of wear and tear

2nd one went out from being pressed in to far and driving the car with a bad clutch

3rd one which i installed with the new clutch slave and new fluid bled and all went out today after being on the car for a week with a clutch stop :(

i do have a stage two clutch
would that have anything to do with it?

and if soo anysuggestions on any other master cyl i could use maybe the pressure plate it to heavy for that cyl who knows any advise? any cyl swaps need to be made

    thanks

I don't see the clutch stop or uprated clutch as being the cause of the failure of the clutch hydraulics. Did you use new OE parts or reman parts?

Are you sure the master has failed again? Meaning that you've checked the fluid reservoir and the clutch side is full and that there are no leaks and no air in the system?

what are the symptoms? your pushing the clutch to the floor and its not engaging?

take a look at your master cylinder mounting bracket and look for cracks in it, mine had a crack right at the strengthening bend in the bracket and it bent there causing the clutch not to engage.

              clutch feels crunchy
              and unsmooth
and when i push the clutch down
              no gear goes in
and pedal stay on the ground

finally found out that was the reason i was blowing out so many clutch master cylinders the bracket was tweaked where the clutch master cylinder would mount so when pressure was applied it was being wisted and then causing it to shift in a weird angle

That would explain the failure rate.

Was wondering what your solutin was korea619?

hate to bring back a dead thread, but i'm having the exact same problem, my bracket is bending, even after I bend it back. This is what caused my CMC to go bad in the first place, and I want it fixed. Any ideas?

Other than cracked parts in the pedal box or a pressure plate much more stiff than OE, I can't think of a reason for distortion of the pedal box brackets.

After lots of searching on the internet, this seems to be more common than I origonally thought. I'm going to take my pedal assembly apart and take a look at it. I will post my findings when I get a chance.
