He was lucky it was the mounts that twisted instead of the mounting slots breaking off of the transmission case.
The manual transmission cross member is secured to the body with four bolts, but the auto cross member is only secured with two bolts.
Now that I am on it, I'll probably replace the guibo, install the bushings of the shifter and a short shifter. ;)
