Transmission Overall Length?

Does anyone have a "i" 5 speed out of a late car laying around that could measure the overall length from the front mounting surface to the end of the shifter carrier?

Distance from the bell housing face to where an aluminum shift console attaches is about 18". From the bell housing to where the selector attaches is about 20".

i need the exact length from the mounting surface in the front to the tip of the shift carrier in the rear.

If I feel enthusiastic enough later to shift things around to get clear access to a transmission, dig out a shift console, and attach it to a transmission I'll get that measurement. No promises though.

Overall length is 32" from mounting surface to tip of aluminum shift console.
