Noise

Listen to Guns n Roses - Welcome to the Jungle, at about 12 seconds in the song makes a noise which sounds like my car. The noise is speed proportional and only happens around 30 or 40 mph. I have heard the noise in 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as coasting in neutral. I am going to check the mtl level tonight.

Any thoughts?

Well as an update to the situation, I checked my fluid level - it was fine. I drained it anyways and replaced it with amsoil synthetic gear oil. The noise is significantly reduced but it is still there. This leads me to thinking that it is wear on the gears in the transmission.
