    Drive shafts.........

    whats the compatiblity between drive shafts. i have an 88 4 door. looking to find a good used one. . does year span matter and does 2 door 4 door matter? any helf would be nice:crazy:

    match trans and engine...the cars all have the same wheels base so the drive shafts should all work as long as the engine/trans combo are the same...someone correct me if im wrong

      width of the CSB mounting bracket varies with early and late.

      The earlier cars have a wider base.

        so if i got a drive shaft and got the correct csb i should be good?

          pretty sure the rear halves of e30 driveshafts are all the same. the front half is a different length depending on manual or auto.
          '87 325ic, powered by S50.

              There are also different diameter and bolt holes for the guibo.
