E30 puzzle project- help me ID some parts

I recently acquired a e30 325e that was abandoned by the owner at a local transmission shop. He had destroyed the throw out bearing, toasted the clutch beyond recognition, and stripped his tires bare.... When he did not what to have it repaired, he just left it there. A friends shop is next door so I inquired about it and shortly after it followed me home!

My biggest problem is its in pieces. Pictures attached below. I found a brand new clutch kit (F1) on ebay for $80. However the input shaft cover that the TB rides on is marred. I have considered chucking it in my lathe and turning it down, but should I replace the seal while I have it off? Any tricks to removing it?

Thanks for the help. A few friends have e30's and this should make a good DD once I fix it up. Compared to my less then streetable rx7's, its a welcome change.

I was able to remove my input shaft collar/cover today. Its the 2 piece type. It does not have enough material to turn it down on the lathe. Does anyone have a spare?
