Im doing an m50 swap and was wondering what the best lsd would be for the m50 and getrag transmission. 3.73 or 3.46? Thanks in advance.

use a gearing calculator. You can use either, my choice would be the 3.46 if you can get your hands on one. Pretty hard to come by vs the 3.73.
I went 3.25 because some day I figure I'll have the power to use it. -
Have you driven the car with the M20 in there? I've got a G260 with a 3.73 and I wanted to go for a 3.46 or a 3.25... that is, until I drove it with the 3.73. You turn over 3350RPM or so at 80, but I usually cruise at around 70 or so anyway. With a mark d chip, I can just barely hit 60mph in second with a G260 and a 3.73 at an indicated 7000rpm (but I think it's more like 6800).paint sucksComment

I haven't driven one with the m20. My cousin is runnin his m50 with the getrag and a 4.10 lsd which is a bit high for my taste. I like to drive on the freeway more than he does I think. So the 3.73 is a good choice? Wh33lhop, are you happy with the 3.73?Comment
