Dual Mass to Single Mass Upgrade eta

Ive tried to search around for this upgrade since my dual mass is beat up! I got an 87 e30 bmw 325 with a dual mass (taken everything apart and found that the flywheel is burnt and possibly no one will cut it) So Im thinking a single mass flywheel would be the way to go! All ive gotten from the search bar is:

Early Flywheel/Clutch Kit.

Can someone shed more light to this?

Just get any earlier m20b25 flywheel and buy a clutchkit to suit.

Edit, Didn't think the '87 had a "duel mass" flywheel.

Sorry my e30 might be 86 but its for sure a dual mass I got it in the trunk on my second car

Early/Late clutch kits usually refer to the production date of the car. Pre 06/86 have single mass, post have dual mass and use different clutches (unsprung disc)...you've already figured this one out though.

Important Consideration: Does your flywheel have the position reference sender pressed into it? It's a small square metal peg along the side of the wheel that sticks up about half an inch. If your car has that setup, then it's a bit of a wrench for your dual to single conversion plans (killed mine for my 87 e) as that system is necessary for the motor to run.

I'm not sure, but I don't think they made single mass flywheels with the position senders in them. Most single mass motors had the position referencing stuff up front...which is a better design anyway.
