im currently doing a 5 speed swap and im ready to put the 260 in but i need to know how this stuff should be torqued. Anything else that needs to be torqued to spec?

run to autozone/advance auto and get a Hayne's manual for torque specs

and put blue Loctite on everything...

      install with loctite 270
      105 +-7Nm (77 +-5 ftlb)

      and star pattern should work
but in the bentley, it shows

      1 oclock
      7 oclock
      3 oclock
      9 oclock
      5 oclock
      11 oclok
      6 oclock
and 12 oclock for the last bolt

      as i know.
its better to evenly tighten anything.
so snug them up in star pattern or above pattern
      and then
torque them up to above pattern.

if you torque the 1st bolt up and then do the rest, by the time you get to the last bolt the 1st bolt will not be in spec.,

bolts on by hand and evenly tightened will always be best.
