I have an auto with 138k on it, owned by an old lady for the last 21 years. Its from a 87 325i. It has not ever been abused, and I'll get fluid change records for you. PM/email me an offer.

Eh some people like them. Otherwise so many wouldn't have been sold. I agree tho, I am not really a fan of automatics either. Not to mention, no BMW auto's will handle any reasonable amount of torque (400+).

If you need one, let me know. I really want it gone.

Sure, pedal cluster, master cylinder, lines, slave cylinder, transmission, fly/clutch, drive shaft.

Put a reputable company's rebuilt torque converter in front of it, install the upgraded teflon input shaft seal kit and replace the first gear fiber clutch plates, you'll have a tranny that will last for a good long time as long as you don't abuse it or expect it to handle a lot more than stock power levels... This is actually easier than you would think to accomplish, much easier than a correctly done five speed swap. I've done both, but which one you should do, well of course that's up to you...

I know a guy that just pulled one from a running car and wants to sell it too. Shipping might suck, but its better than paying to rebuild!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!
