Question about differential plugs...

I'm currently asking myself if the drain plug and the filler plug are the same part numbers ?!?!? Are they ?

Difficult to say. They look alike, but nowhere I found the proper specification. The only hint I found is that you can buy the drain plug. I presume both are the same.

They are the same plug. There is an updated part with a new type of sealing surface.

Thanks for this tremendous information. Unfortunately, this new updated part is a pain in the !$&. You need this 15mm Allen key that is almost impossible to find.
