    Harmonic Balancer Removal

I have a eta and recently removed the driveshaft..problem is I took off the driveshaft and the harmonic balancer stayed on the damn car. Ideas? Sorry for the crappy pics but it was nighttime and all I had was my crappy cell camera and an even crappier flash-light. Do I need to remove the nut to get it off or should I use a prybar. I searched but noone really had pics.

Well I would keep it but I'm putting in a short shifter and I can't do anything cause it's blocking some of the mounting hardware for the shifter plate that I wanted to replace. I just wanna take it off, maybe a puller?

I see, well then it seems like that's actually behind the output flange. You couldn't remove it without taking out that 30mm nut.

Although it is curious as it's the first time I've seen a harmonic balancer sitting that way.

Or you can just get a cutting wheel and have fun with it (sarcasm)

Lmao, I woulda gone to town with anything in my hand last night. I searched abit more and found that a thinwall 30mm socket would get the job done. Probably gonna have to replace the ring clip thing that is around it to get the socket seated better for more grip. Thanks, gonna attack it after school.

Were you able to remove this? I just installed a short shifter and mine's hitting the balancer as well.
