What's the best short shift kit to use?

So i've been waiting for UUC to deliver my damn short shift kit for bout 5 months now... do i keep waiting and keep calling and emailing... or do i go with something else? Anyone got some advice from experience of good or bad short shifts?

    Thanks

      For $70? seems sketch.

I'll change this to "What's the best short shift kit to use" (money doesn't matter)?

I have the Z3 1.9 arm with all new bushings... still a little notchy for my tastes... and still more slop than I'd like...

I'll probably spring for the full UUC set-up once I have some extra money and enough time has passed that I forget how annoying replacing those parts is... None of the other kits seem to address the fundamental issues with the design.

What are they telling you when you call?

Anyone know if there is info or if it's possible to swap from the early sheet metal carrier arm to the aluminum one? I've been searching but havent found anything yet.
