Getting halfshaft out.

I'm taking the half shafts out of my parts car.

I got the drivers side one out with ease, just by tapping it out using a socket extension.

However, the passeneger side doesn't seem to be budging - do I just hit it a lot harder? (which I already have, but I CAN hit harder)

Or, is there some other way to get it out without damaging it?
