    Diff Swap ?

I have a stock 325e, with the high geared rear end. Can I swap out the differential to a lower geared one? Something from an IS car, or even a new aftermarket one? thanks

of course you can, a 3.73 diff with a chipped ETA is fun as hell but short as hell.

I wouldnt go with anything past a 3.73 tho. I think a 3.46 or 3.25 would be about perfect fun/function factor

Sweet, thats what I like to hear :) what is the best option? Try to find a set of used IS gears?

The best option is to find a used diff in the ratio you want and swap the units.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
