About to buy an LSD.

I'm about to buy my first LSD. A 4.10 from a 325ic?

1. How do I check to make sure it is a 4.10

2. Seller said there is no play, solid, and filled with Motul. What can I check for before I purchase?

3. Is there anything else I need to buy to be able to mount this to my 318i?

See what I circled in green?
Scrape off all the dirt and it will say 4.10 vertically if I remember correctly and have a capitol 'S' stamped on there.

sometimes theres a metal tab also attached about .5" x 2ish" with round corners

clean that up and itll be on there as well, should say

S4.10

probably all bmw diffs from that generation as well
