So I've narrowed down my mysterious leak..99% sure that it my new input shaft seal.
Now contrary to the philosophy that I've held to throughout the entire build of my car..to pay the extra $$ and do it right the first time..I'm looking for a band-aid fix right now.
What are my options with this leak besides ripping the entire tranny out again and replacing the seal? Any temporary band aid fixes or miracle cures?
I plan on ripping out the entire engine and tranny again in around 6 months or so to do either a complete m50 swap, or budget stroker. So I would rather hold off removing the tranny before then. If there is a fix that I could live with for 6 months, I'd like to go that route.
Currently the car pisses a pretty decent sized trail (10-15ft) when parking, and leaves a nice sized puddle. I have refilled the tranny with thicker gear lube hoping to slow the leak, but no avail. If I have to live with it for 6 months, I'll just buy cheap lube and refill on regular intervals.
Any ideas?
