Spent a few hours with a slug hammer and angle grinder getting the 1/8 - 1/4 of inch of rust offmy recently aquired 3.73 lsd ( thanks mike!) , then sprayed it with rust treatment then a full respray. Now im waiting for the new gasket and to fill her up with oil. stoked

So it took me about 7 hours to get this in. I dont know why but nothing wanted to line up or cooperate. Then i didnt have enough oil for it and i think it might have been the wrong oil. But I took her around the block and was amazed. This + once i get a new clutch in is gonna be awesome.

Its hard to tell as my guibo is shot and my clutch is toast so its not too fun yet. With the crappy guibo i cant floor it without getting really bad virbrations and with the toast clutch burnouts are risky. So as of now its just that i have to shift faster and that im already at 2500rpms in fith gear doing like 60 haha. So i wouldnt recomend it in an eta if your doing highway driving. The eta is torquey enough for the 2.93. The biggest reason i switches was for 2 wheels burnouts and being able to slide easily both directions.
