    Replace bolts

Just have a quick question for you guys. When swapping a transmission out on an engine, the pilot bearing slid off and fell into the pressure plate. I had to remove the pressure plate to get the bearing out. Anyways, I was just wondering how many of you guys actually replace the pressure plate bolts every time you undo them? I know they are cheap and you are suppose to, but its just going to delay my install.

Whether I replace the bolts depends on how long they've been installed. If for the life of a clutch, they should be replaced. But if the bolts only have a few thou on them, they can be reused. If you reuse the bolts they need thread sealant.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
