    Half-shaft difference between '85 318i/325i

    Hello,

    E30 guru please help.

I got an '85 318i with rear drums brake:( I would like to convert this to disc.

So far here are my parts lists (all are 325i parts):

Rear trailing arms w/hubs & bearings assembly.
    Calipers and Rotors w/ebrake assembly.

Will my 318i half-shaft fit the 325i hub? Would be nice if they are the same. I already did the search. Just can't come up with an answer.

    Thank you in advance.

Hard to say exactly because there are a few different axles and a few different hub/bearing combinations that were used on E30s. Most of these combos will work together though. The only scary part is that you're mixing pre 86 parts with post 86 parts which is usually the deciding point on suspension stuff. There is a good chance it will work though.
