    Help diagnosing noise

When I turn right the back of my car makes a low-pitched groan/buzz sound with a really slight vibration when it's in gear. If I let the clutch out it stops. I'm guessing it is most likely the left axle, but really can't tell what side it's coming from. Could it possibly be the diff?

Hmmm I yes too would like to know what it is. I have known that my rear subframe bushings are done and my LSD is putting strain on the rear subframe while turning at parking lot speeds, causing a groaning/grinding sound. But that is just my theory. Could it be the halfshafts? maybe i should look into those too.

i once had a autotragic e30 wagon with an open 410. i now have a 5speed with 373 swapped into the same car. maybe thats the problem. not used to the AWESOMENESS!!

I originally thought a wheel bearing, but it only does it when in gear. If it was a bearing wouldn't it make the noise regardless of if it is in gear or not?

          I'm gonna say diff.

          Change the fluid.
