am i to believe that all e30 tranny are the same ?.. ell the 5spd boxes i mean

2.5, 2.7 and 4cyl .. i 'm thinking the M3 has its own bloodline ...

The I6's had the Getrag 260, I4's had @40, etc. I think the M3 one is the Getrag 265, not sure on that number.

The trannys are only the same between the 6 cylinder cars, save for holes in the belhousing on some.
