Hm, looks to be ebay. Only way would be to remove and compare to photos or look for part # or Manufacture stamp. Why does it matter? I think it looks to be ebay junk, but I could be wrong. I would just buy a z3 shifter and replace the bushings and washers. If you want to go that route PM me I will send you a link to a site that is cheaper than BMW.

Aside from showing yourself to be offensive, lacking experience and ignorant in the ways of business, you're also illiterate and imprudent. Beyond that, your sense of liability is severely impaired.
It is definitely not ebay... and it is made to fit BMW shifter knob. Not B&M, UUC, nor anything else I've seen. That weight right under the knob, let's me know that, whichever company built it, put thought into it.
I should also add that there was a five year old receipt in the glovebox for installation of the short shifter and clutch stop, but it doesn't list a source or price of the parts.
And it still feels tight five years later, so I Don't think It's eBay crap.
That sure looks like it, and today I noticed the clutch stop (that was installed at the same time) says uuc on it. So you're probably right about it being the race shifter.
