Broken clutch master cylinder. Need help.

So I broke my clutch master cylinder earlier this spring, it snapped at the little eyelet where it bolts to the clutch pedal. So I replaced that one with a brand new OEM one, and it snapped again today, same spot. I was leaving my house to meet up with some friends before driving to pick up my 116$ m50tub25 :p, and only made it a few blocks before the MC broke. Now I'm about to order a new one, so I can drive my car asap but I've got some questions first.

I am doing something wrong when installing these that is making it more prone to breaking? And is there possibly a master cylinder that has a metal eyelet instead of a plastic one like I've used before? Please let me know, thanks

Also the car is an 89 325i, that was originally an auto (was swapped by the PO)

Check the pedal box and clutch related parts for cracks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Was there any solution for this? I just broke my first one (brand new). The pedal box was just installed and looked visibly fine. There does not appear to be any significant play in the cloth pedal side to side.

Is there a cylinder with a metal eyelet?

My throw out bearing had failed and was causing the MC to break when I would put pressure on it.

Thanks for responding. That is interesting to hear. How did you narrow it down to that? I have a brand new throwout bearing, slave cylinder, clutch master, pilot bearing, and everything. I Just did a 5-speed swap.

After a careful examination I am lead to believe it was me over tourquing the bolt for the pedal/cylinder that cause it. I was downtown and the bolt had wigged it way off fr a second time so I it out the wrenches and really tightened that thing on there. Thus not allowing the eyelet to swivel at all while the clutch pedal traveled back and forth.

Basically I could hear the bearing rattle around in the trans and the sound would stop as soon as depressed the clutch, I tore the trans out and found the bearing was trashed and actually installed incorectly as well.
