    center bearing

Hello, I recently bought a 325is with a bad u joint. I bought a used driveshaft and discovered the center bearing doesnt line up to the original center bearing bolt holes.

The car drives great with the new shaft however I was only able to thread 1 bolt through the center bearing. Should I drill a new hole to hold the bearing in place?

The original center bearing was round, the bearing that came with the new shaft is oval.

    Thanks alot!

Pull the drive shaft and replace the center support bearing with the correct part.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Okay. I was hoping I could rig it in there someway without having to split the shaft but I guess not.
