Subframe Bushing Options? What are your favorites?

    Hi Guys,

What are my options for subframe bushings replacements? Cost factors in, but I want a solid hold on the subframe. Car is primarily a beater that will be used for rallycross and some highway, so solid al. is probably no good.

    Suggestions?

Solid aluminum is the obvious winner, but that is probably too much NVH on a street car. Next would poly bushings (AKG or PowerFlex), but again there will be an increase in NVH. Poly bushings are probably the best choice in this particular case, but new OE bushings would be almost as good. And OE bushings are the best choice on a street car (even if it sees occasional track time).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
