    Diff help!

I have a 91 318 with a 4.10lsd small case diff. I was told all I need to do with a 325 diff is swap my flanges and rear cover for it to work on my car.

I bought a 2.93lsd and found the flanges seem to fit fine but the rear cover is different. Can someone shed some light on what I need to do to make it work. Can I get a e30 325 rear cover? I take it the 2.93 is a med. case correct? Thanks for any help.

you don't need the output shafts. the overall width of the small case with the longer output shafts and the medium case with the shorter output shafts is the same. They mount up the same as well.

you might have to swap out your speed sensor, but that should be it.

you need the cover that fits the diff... so any med case cover
