    replacing a clutch in a e39

    Hey, i know a guy who's interested in replacing the clutch in a m52 e39. how hard is it? he will have a lift, and many tools (though none are bmw specific)

        That is typically about a six-eight hour job with a lift and transmission jack.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          Clutch jobs are not fun, i think this is about the only thing I did not do on my car and paid a shop to do (before the swap) lol
