I think my synchronizers are going bad on my '85 325e. If I need to get a new transmission, are all e30 transmissions the same? Also, I doubt there are any used transmissions that would be worth installing. So, are there any good companies to get transmissions from that are either in good condition or rebuilt. What do you guys suggest that I do? It sucks not being able to go into 4th gear!!!

You are completely right. I actually had a problem with the sensors a few months ago and totally forgot that it was only an early e30 problem. Well that solves that question.
What about a place to find transmissions. I've been looking all over the internet, and I can't find anything of use. What would a good transmission be worth?1985 325e - 5000 RPM's of Fury

Overall, would a used transmission be worth it, seeing how it could possibly go bad at any time too? Should I get a rebuilt one? I'm a poor college student by the way.- Sean Hayes
