You need to get the car well up in the air. Six ton jackstands will safely accomplish that. You are also going to need a set of torx sockets, some long extensions & wobble joints, and the usual set of wrenches and socket wrenches. Getting the top bolts off the bell housing is easier if you disconnect the motor mounts and lift the front of the engine as much as possible. An engine brace is the best way to do that. The transmission is pretty heavy so you'll find a floor jack to be a big help.
