My jeep cherokee has a welded diff and it does just fine. Aside from the increased tire wear, annoying squeal from the rear tires in parking lots, and decreased gas mileage (which was shit to begin with) I have nothing to complain about. I did this as a fix for chewed up spider gears, it was cheaper than replacing them or buying a locker. The truck will go anywhere now, definitely an improvement and worth any negative effects I am now dealing with. I think it would be the same in any car suffering with an open diff.1985 RX7 - Badassery Exemplified.

It's annoying as a daily. But if your car only sees the road maybe twice a year (like mine) it will be fine.I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.
