The trans bolted to my m52 currently is a g260 that sounds like at any moment it could explode and blow through the sheet metal under my feet. Needless to say it needs to get out of the car asap.
I have another g260 that was bolted to my m20, this one is stuck in second gear. Pretty sure it is the selector rod/shaft that the shifter bolts to.
My question is, how hard would it be to take apart both transmissions and replace the selector rod in the second tranny with the one from the first one.
