Auto trans riddle, need your help.

E30 Auto, Car runs fine, shifts fine, has correct amount of fluid, the fluid color looks good and no leaks. After driving the car them parking it in the garage, you can smell transmission fluid. One day the car was fine and then the next is this.

Any ideas? GO!
