318is diff+axles

Okay, so im planning on going with a big power motor in about 6months. But at the moment I need new axles.

Im trying to do things right the first time around.

I know the 4.10axles are different from some of the 3.xx LSD's.

So give me some options and tell me what parts would work.

Not sure how tall I want the gear yet(ill prob decide on availability), all I know is 4.10 is not gonna work. :rofl:

What motor and trans will you be running?

The axles are no different than 6 cylinder cars.

So if I get a 3.73lsd, the stock axles off of the 318 will work?

Whats the modification to be done? Just swap the case?

No mods at all.

Unbolt the diff and replace with new.

You might want to go with medium case diff if you're going to that "big power motor" of yours.
