Getrag 260 gear oil, which

Hey all

Been using castrol VMX80 but its been hard to shift and when some of the bolts dislodged in my shifter setup the oil was grey. going to dump the oil soon to see if its all like that.

Anyway is vmx80 fine? ive got 75w-85 GL4 synthetic bottle here but dont want to waste it, if its just going to get pissed out past the old seals.

but yeah if its the right oil ill just buy some more.

I have said it before and I will keep saying it... People need to stop wasting money on expensive oil.

Run standard (cheapest) 75w90 or 80w90 gear oil. That's all you need.
